There are no surcharges involved and only a deposit is taken at point of sale.  This deposit is refunded on the safe return of the old unit.  All returned engines and components must be complete and visibly undamaged.  Damaged parts and shortages will be charged at UK list price.  All old units returned must be received at Jem Engines Falkirk within 21 calendar days from despatch date of remanufactured item, the carriage costs and arrangements are the customers’ responsibility, failure to have the old unit received at Jem Engines within the prescribed time will affect the refund value.

PAYMENT:

All exchange items are to be paid in full prior to despatch (cleared funds).  This condition also applies to Jem Engines customers who have an account facility in place, this condition will be waived for minor items – water pumps,  crankshafts and injectors only to existing Jem account customers.
      
Prices quoted exclude VAT and will be added at current rate.   If paying by  cheque approximately 10 days clearing time will be required with exception to customers who have Jem cheque approval.  Credit card transactions will be subject to a 3.5% charge added to the final invoice value.

CARRIAGE:

Engines are shipped via a national pallet service which covers the major parts of the UK mainland, however there are some parts of the UK that may incur higher charges e.g. Highland and Islands etc – the mainland service is usually a 3-4 working day service – more urgent deliveries can be arranged at extra cost to normal carriage rates.
